Tommy Gargotta is a visionary, hands-on creative leader whose work is responsible for over 12 billion dollars in global box office. As President, Worldwide Creative Advertising at Sony Pictures Entertainment, his marketing achievements drove Sony to its longest string of number one movies and highest box office in history, hitting #1 in market share for the first time.
Some of his career highlights include crafting campaigns for “Casino Royal,” “Quantum of Solace,” and “Skyfall” – the highest-grossing Bond film ever; launching billion- dollar animation and live-action franchises “Hotel Transylvania,” “The Smurfs,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “M.I.B,” and “21 Jump Street;” creating the innovative, iconic campaign
for “District 9;” and collaborating with Quentin Tarantino
in developing the campaign for “Django Unchained.”
